Story
Even though storytelling can be found in every art discipline, I mostly use it in my music and video work. Besides creating worlds through video and music I've also been trying to do this by words alone, in the form of a novel. Multiple attempts and several years later almost all of these passionprojects have been put on hold and haven't been finished due to a writer's block, but I'm definitely still inspired to keep working on the stories and keep expanding and creating new worlds.
Besides novels I've also made a storyline for our game "Onlife", a game against cyberbullying, and have I been able to add a background story to the characters I've made for my virtual Kpop Group "CMD'M Pop". Both will be able to be found here.

Virtual Kpop Group Lore - Schoolproject
During the minor Art 'n Sound
CMD'M Pop (the virtual Kpop Group I've created during Art 'n Sound) is heavily inspired by K/DA, which is a Vritual Kpop Group by RiotGames, created for the game League of Legends. Since RiotGames added a new type of background stories to their characters, I thought it would be a good idea to do the same. This has also been my first collaboration project, since the background stories have been made by me and the characters have been designed by my lovely partner, Nick Feringa.
Game Storyline
Onlife - Schoolproject
This game is the outcome of a group assignment for our university. Our task was to design something that would spread more awareness about cyber-bullying and we decided to make a game out of this.
In this version of the storyline of the game, we decided to name the character Alex and give them a female and male appearance (to show that this game is for everyone and cyber-bullying happens to everyone), but in the end you're able to create the look and name of the main character yourself. I tried to explain the world of Alex first before diving into the storyline, so you'll be able to relate better with what Alex is going through.
Alex is a Twitch streamer and has been for a while when you start the game. They've already got a pretty big amount of followers and their community is still growing. Everyone in school knows that they stream multiple times a week and their friends watch their streams every time. But the comments during the streams aren't always nice ones and lately they've been appearing more often. How will Alex handle this situation? That's all up to you! In the readable storyline, you can find three different outcomes, but maybe there will be more in the future.
Onlife is a visual novel / simulation game that takes place during our current time.

(In the downloadable storyline I used the work-title "ASH: A Streamer to Hate". It was just a work-title and the story was finished way before the start of the final product, so don't get them confused, they're for the same game)

UNI
This is the second English story I ever started to write. I encountered a writer's block in both my other works and I thought I could avoid this by making a novel based on my in real life experiences, which is why this novel is non-fiction / semi-autobiographical, since some parts are not the same as they used to be.
The story is about how Noah and Nicky (the made up names for me and my partner) find each other during their time studying in university. That's why you can read the title of the novel as Uni (like a shorter version of University) or U & I.
I haven't finished the novel, nor am I even close to it, but eventually I want to start the story at the first day at Uni for Nicky and end it at the last day of Uni for one of the characters. Who's day that is, I'm not sure yet.

HOME
This novel has started to shape itself after I told some of my online friends I've been writing a novel. They wanted to know what my writing was like, but my first story (2118) was in Dutch, so I decided to start writing a story in English. Even though my English skills sure weren't lacking at the time, writing a story and just messaging online friends are two totally different ways of using a language, so it was still pretty hard to do, which has caused me to stop pretty fast. It was until 3 years later I started to try writing another English story again after writing a lot of songs.
HOME is about a guy named Isaac. He's been living in a house in the forest for quite a while now. Due to certain circumstances he hasn't been able to leave the place, but he wants to change that. Will he succeed? And what if he succeeds? How will the world look like? You'll find out when you'll read it.

My first ever story was a project together with two friends of mine. All three of us decided we would become one of our favorite characters in this science fiction story, with all kinds of powers and such. One of the others made a comic and I decided to write a novel with the full story. With almost 50 pages, this novel is the closest out of my works to being a finished story.
The characters we created in the story were called Nate, Barry and Jack. Jack being me, since Jack Frost was my favorite character at the time and that's who the story is about. Or well, the character is based off of Jack Frost, but his story in this novel is totally different than the original one. In this story a lot of people have powers, including Jack, and people with these powers are called Metas. Metas need to take care of younger metas and that is how Jack needs to take care of his younger cousins and train them to become superheros. Will they become strong enough? Or are things more difficult and complicated than they appeared to be? Discover it in 2118.
